How to adjust the direction of the door handle

1. First of all, some door handles can choose panels. On this one, it can be removed with a flat head screwdriver to replace the panel, whether it is the inner door handle or the outer door handle, when it comes off, the entire door lock needs to be disassembled and re-installed, choosing the panel that matches the door opening.

2. Dimension the holes in your door and door jambs with the new knock plate and detent mechanism.

3. Install the inner handle, rotate the screw hole to the outside, and then tighten it with a screwdriver, so that the door handle can be fixed.

4. Push the new pawl mechanism and panel into the door, and make sure that the pawl faces the way the door will be closed, so the inclined side will hit the impact plate. After installing each part, turn the handle a few times by hand to see if it is not. Normal, firm and flexible. If it cannot be used normally, you need to check whether it is installed in place or replace the lock body.
